The King’s Heralds

It is his word by his Spirit that does the work, as he told the seventy-two, “The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me” (Luke 10:16). We are simply called to be the King’s heralds, but where the gospel is preached the kingdom is near.

Beloved, Contend for the Faith

Jude begins his short epistle identifying himself as the “brother of James,” which means he was also the half-brother of Jesus. In humility he simply says he is a “servant of Jesus Christ,” as are we to whom he writes. In love for Christ’s church, he writes to the called with concern, with confidence yet caution….

The Reward of Christ

Consider the reality of this: The gospel is not something left on the pages or your bible or confined to the preacher’s pulpit. It is the reward of Christ carried with every single man, woman, and child who is in Christ! The hope that we share is that the reward of receiving the gospel of Christ is Christ Himself.
